Smith & Sons Heating and Air Inc. was founded on a strong foundation of hard work, integrity, and service. Co-owners Kyle and Rachel combined their individual passions and life experiences to build a company that not only delivers trusted HVAC solutions, but also gives back to the community in meaningful ways.

Kyle brings over 20 years of experience in the construction industry, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC. After working for multiple companies, he set out to build a business of his own, one rooted in his dream of financial freedom and creating a lasting legacy for his family. Having grown up in a military household, Kyle developed a deep respect for those who serve our country. The name “Smith & Sons” is a tribute to their shared dream of passing the business on to their son, as well as honoring the memory of a son they lost.

Rachel, also a co-owner of Smith & Sons, brings unmatched strength, compassion, and resilience to the heart of the business. A cancer survivor with a background in the medical field, Rachel has always carried a deep compassion for the less fortunate. She has spent time serving in orphanages and group homes across third world countries and, after working with foster youth, became one of the youngest foster and adoptive parents in San Diego County. Rachel and Kyle eventually adopted a little girl, further solidifying their shared commitment to service and family. Today, a portion of Smith & Sons’ proceeds is donated directly to cancer patients, with a special focus on supporting pediatric care.

Together, Kyle and Rachel lead Smith & Sons Heating and Air with a simple mission, to provide honest, high-quality HVAC services without overselling, and to always put people first. They are proud to serve families across San Diego, including veterans, first responders, and those facing life’s toughest battles, with the dedication, care, and integrity they deserve.
